WAGE RANGE: $18.00-$18.40/hour
JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated individual who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to work as a Kitchen Assistant at its St Paul Opportunity Center location.
Under the direction of the on-site Chef/Supervisor, this individual is responsible for assisting in and maintaining the Food Service areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, dishwashing, floor cleaning, equipment and area cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining the kitchen, and proper receiving and storage of incoming product.
They will assist Chef and Volunteers in maintaining the kitchen, dining room and all food, small wares and equipment storage areas and organization of same.
The position includes the ability to interact and provide good customer service to Catholic Charities clients and volunteers, and maintain a good working relationship with shelter, housing and program staff.
