Operations Manager
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking an Operations Manager for Our Daily Bread Employment Center (ODBEC) program. Directs and manages the day to day operations of the Agency Facility which provides comprehensive services to the community. The Operations Manager will have overall supervisory accountable for daily functions and activities with emphasis on client services, outreach, security, budget and maintenance.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Core Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the overall security and safety, including oversight of the building and property, including the monitoring of community entrances, all fire and alarm systems and inside and outside grounds on a regular basis.
• Manages and directs work of others, including recruiting new hires, onboarding new staff, and conducting performance reviews.
• Develops and manages policy and procedures for the facility.
• Monitors the facility for needed repairs and maintenance, including contacting supervisor or relevant vendor to ensure that maintenance is performed and adequate.
• Accountable for all building and service certifications.
• Monitor day to day financial expenditures in accordance with contractual budget requirements.
• Coordinate the receiving, maintaining inventory, distribution and keeping proper documentation of donations.
• Meets regularly with staff on all shifts to ensure clear communication, full shift coverage, consistent execution of work routines, training in emergency response, and security of the programs.
• Direct the development of data collection, program evaluation, and report generation to the Director / Manager and external funding sources, as directed and required

PROGRAM SPECIFIC DUTIES: Employees working in the following program(s) have responsibilities that are in addition to the above duties and responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to:
Our Daily Bread Employment Center (ODBEC)

• Oversees security staff and ensuring that security procedures are being followed in accordance with contract outlined by Catholic Charities and Security contractor. Also ensures security is working in conjunction with Catholic Charities mission that reflects the dignity of our clients.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business or a related field
• Five years’ experience in human services, building operations or related experience of which two years were in a management capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Ability to be flexible with schedule and shift changes with the ability to work days, weekends and holidays and accessible by phone
• Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence. There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver’s ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.
