Catalyst Innovation L.L.C. is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Washington, DC

Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis, including gathering and understanding requirements, performing relevant activities, and designing effective solutions. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in developing analysis and reporting capabilities to support decision-making processes within the organization. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring performance and implementing quality control plans to identify areas for improvement.

DUTIES:

  • Conduct full lifecycle analysis, including requirements gathering, activities, and design.
  • Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to support decision-making processes.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and clean data, reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis tools such as R or Python.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience in [industry/sector] is a plus.
