Group home staff needed for Friday-Sunday- foster care boys

Catalyst Community Corporation is a boys group home company located in the East Valley (Mesa/Queen Creek). These are foster care teenage boys that are in Arizona DCS and tribal custody and are wards of the court. We need people with a lot of experience, capable of working alone, and the pay depends on your experience in this field.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

~ Experience with foster youth

~ Minimum of 1 year experience working with kids/youth

~ Ability to supervise teenagers at all times

~ Promotes healthy boundaries with staff and youth

~ Good housekeeping/cooking skills

~ Ability to complete all job required forms

~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

~ Attention to detail

~ Applicants applying for management need to have management/leadership and group home staff experience

Requirements:

~ Minimum high school diploma.

~ Be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal background check

~ Be able to pass CPR/1st Aid, and CIT/CPI/Prevention and Support classes

~ Have a Valid Driver's License and obtain a 5 year DMV certified driving record, and also must have current auto insurance

~ Be medically cleared to work. The company will cover the costs of this.

~ Be over 21 years of age

~ Possess a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of applying

~ Pass a federally required out-of-state Adam Walsh Background Check (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
