Job Title: Inventory Clerk
Direct Report: General Manager
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr
Status: Full-time/Part-Time
Role Summary
An Inventory Clerk is a professional who is responsible for, but not limited to, keeping track of and managing inventory in stores. In addition, they sign off on shipments to facilitate sales while counting current product inventory.
Duties & responsibilities
- Help with intaking product.
- Writing on Metrc tags and putting tags with corresponding product
- Consolidating and organizing the vault.
- Cleaning the break room, bathrooms, and workspace
- Assist with monthly inventory counts.
- Assisting all Managers with any day-to-day task regarding inventory. i.e. fixing product that is not scanning, product that needs to be moved from the vault to the floor through TREEZ. Etc
Distinguishing Characteristics
Position requires:
a) Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, including reconciling stock counts to computer reports
b) Receiving, unpacking, and delivering items to shelves
c) Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness, and assist to resolve inconsistencies
d) Performs routine clerical duties in support of the store
e) Organizational and critical thinking skills
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
- Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Work is normally performed in a typical indoor/office work environment
