The Role The Field Operations Technician I provides installation of Flowline Safety Restraints (FSR) on customer locations and assists in the flow iron shop as needed. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service Effectively always demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil and Gas Follow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidance Exhibit and always advocate exemplary safety culture Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic Always exhibit a high degree of integrity Perform rig up operations of FSR on well site Perform rig down operations of FSR on well site Perform field greasing procedures for valves, swivels, and Large Bore product lines Perform visual inspection of FSR restraints Perform inventory responsibilities for FSR Perform JSAs (Job Safety Analysis), POWRAs (Point of Work Risk Assessment) and location-based safety protocols as required Perform Iron Technician Trainee responsibilities when necessary Must possess a basic understanding of SPM Products as well as customer requirements Ensures proper care and maintenance of tools, trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times Performs other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience Must have a valid driver’s license Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to drive a company vehicle as needed Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, reach, and pull with hands, arms, and legs Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision Work Environment: Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions Noise Level: Moderate Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel toed safety shoes, safety glasses, and fire-retardant clothing at all locations Additional Information: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
