Castleberry Veterinary Hospital is a fast-growing 1-doctor practice in the city of Cumming, GA, just north of Atlanta. We are looking for individuals that have at least 2-years of experience. Ideal candidates will have surgical experience, or a strong desire to learn surgical assisting skills. This position is a float position including aspects of both front and back office.

Job Requirements:

• Provides animal care by determining animal requirements.
• Assists during operations.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Maintains records.
• Completes laboratory tests and studies and diagnostic imaging.
• Takes vital signs and collects samples.
• Supports animal examinations by assembling required supplies and instruments.
• Explains animal status to owners.
• Prepares surgery table instruments.
• Maintains sterile conditions.
• Obtains and verifies medications.
• Cleans animal cages and equipment
• Maintains safe, secure, healthy, and humane environment by sterilizing and wrapping instruments, sanitizing operating areas, verifying shelf life of medications, and complying with legal regulations.
• Greet and check in clients.
• Answer client questions and concerns.
• Charge out clients.
• Run end of day reports.

CVH is offering a full time schedule working open to close 8-6pm. 2 Saturdays (alternating) a month is required. Employee discounts are available. If interested in this position or would like more information please apply.
