Valley View Village, a 5-star rated senior care campus, is hiring a Full-Time Scheduler/LPN to join our team. In this role, you will schedule clinical staff, manage employee attendance, and interview candidates to create a great team and culture at Valley View Village. This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and rotating on call weekends.

Scheduler/LPN skills and requirements:

• Must have an understanding of clinical scheduling.
• 1-2 years of prior staffing/scheduling experience preferred but not required.
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Iowa.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Scheduler/LPN responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Provide clerical support to nursing management.
• Interview and hire candidates for open nursing positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Track continuing educational programs for staff.
• Create training plans for new nursing staff.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
• Complete payroll and manage time clock errors.
• Order and distribute nursing supplies in a cost effective manner.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
