The position of KEY Camp Nurse (RN) provides care for the wellbeing of campers and staff, monitors health and cleanliness standards, administers medication and treatment to campers and staff, and complies with necessary documentation. The nurse works with KEY Camp staff to ensure a high-quality, positive, and safe experience for campers.
The nurse is responsible for administering medication and attending to the campers and staff health needs. Whether in the office or not, the camp nurse is expected to respond to campers’ and staff needs in person or over the phone. The full time (or day shift nurse) is required to remain on campus a majority of the day and is on-call during the day shift. The full time (or night shift) nurse is required to stay overnight in the Residence Hall and is on-call during the night shift.
