Job Title: Field Technician
Employee Responsibilities:
· Responsible for first line maintenance of various equipment including but not limited to currency recyclers, drop safes, image scanners, printers, safe and Networked PC’s
· Adhere to escalation policies to ensure customer's SLA’s are met in a timely manner.
· Consistent, accurate, timely electronic service ticket maintenance
· Ability to communicate and participate as a team player
· Identify business leads and promote growth for the company
· Assist Field Technicians to facilitate timely cost-effective repairs
· Performing quarterly cycle counts of trunk inventory.
Diagnose, repair and adjust assemblies or subassemblies, restoring unit to functional standardsQualifications Required:
· Two-year Electronics Trade school degree or equivalent
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to stand, sit, kneel or bend for extended periods. May need to stand for several hours at a time while working on a problem with a machine.
· Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs. There is no real lifting overhead however should be able to push upwards.
· Ability to use lift equipment, roll bars, and crowbars to install safes.
· Ability to use power tools including but not limited to drills, hammer drills, etc. for securing equipment to concrete.
· Most lifting is at waist height or lower. Lifting is not for a long period of time - 30 seconds typical, 1-minute tops.
· Proficiency with hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrench, etc)
· Proficient in use of test equipment including digital multi meter and oscilloscopes
· Ability to communicate (written and orally) effectively with both the customer and the company
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
· Ability and willingness to take standby and call outs on scheduled weekends
· Valid driver’s license, car and insurance required. Ability to drive or fly from customer site to customer site. Customer sites may be several hours apart, but technicians may stop and stretch if needed. WEX Card provided for gas purchases for company miles driven and we have a monthly car stipend.
