Job Summary:
Cascade Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center is a specialty clinic located in The Gorge. We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in our Hood River clinic. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments for patients using our electronic scheduling system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, e-mails, and faxes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical records management and scheduling systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and patience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
