Cascade Geosynthetics is Hiring a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE/DRIVER Near Portland, OR
At Cascade Geosynthetics no project is too big or too small and we provide critical materials to the construction industry including: transportation, environmental, commercial and residential. At our warehouse and outside yard in Portland, OR we stock, inventory, and provide top notch customer service with material pickups and deliveries.
Position: Warehouse Associate/Driver
Position Overview:
Warehouse Drivers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing
incoming products, picking, and filling orders from inventory, packing and shipping orders. A Driver will
safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely and
professional manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the warehouse as well as production.
- Accept and unload shipments.
- Assist to load customers when they come for pick up.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Complete local deliveries by driving company trucks to/from customer locations.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate with co-workers and management.
- Must always adhere to all safety rules.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License. CDL Class B with Air Brakes
- Maintain a clean driving record to remain insurable.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Previous working experience as a Warehouse Associate preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass background check, pre-employment screening and random drug/alcohol
- Effective communicator and customer-service focused.
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds at a time
- Work in a warehouse environment which can require standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling,
- Driving and maneuvering box and flatbed trucks on public roads and customer job sites.
Pay and Benefits:
