Job Title: Experienced Restaurant Bookkeeper

We're in search of a meticulous individual to fill the role of Restaurant Bookkeeper. Experience is a must, especially in navigating the complexities of high-volume restaurant finances.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial aspects of the restaurant, including accounts payable, payroll processing, vendor management, and expense tracking.
• Manage restaurant-related expenses and vendors with efficiency and timeliness.
• Utilize POS systems and payroll software, with a preference for proficiency in Toast and Paychex, to streamline financial operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule, with the ability to adjust as necessary to meet the demands of the business.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a bookkeeper in a high-volume restaurant setting is essential.
• Proficient in handling payroll and managing various restaurant expenses and vendors.
• Familiarity with POS systems and payroll software, particularly Toast and Paychex.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an emphasis on accuracy in financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors, staff, and management.
• Full time with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Pay Range: $20 - $24/hr
