Casa Pacifica is Hiring a Clinician II, Camino a Casa Near Camarillo, CA

Wage band range $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Position is eligible for Bilingual pay incentive.

Position is eligible for $7,500 Sign-On Bonus!! Paid at 90-day, 6-months, and 1-year of active service.

We have an outstanding full-time clinical opportunity for a passionate clinician who enjoys working with youth, families and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position will provide short term individual, group and family therapy, developing treatment plans and completing documentation for regular utilization review by various commercial insurance carriers.

Under the direction of the Sr. Program Manager, is responsible for providing and implementing the clinical therapy component of the overall treatment plan. The Clinician II manages cases of assigned clients. The Clinician II carries out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it relates to on-going clinical assessment, evaluation and progress of the youth within Casa Pacifica.

CREDENTIALS: LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT with California license

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated by typical activities):

  • Provides clinical services such as individual, family, and group therapy, parent skills training, and case management.
  • Utilizes evidenced based practices that are appropriate to meet the clinical needs of the youth and family.
  • Collaborate with youth development specialists, recreation therapy staff, education staff, and health clinic staff, to provide comprehensive clinical care for the youth and to ensure program consistency and continuity throughout the day.
  • Confers with parents regarding school and facility activities, policies, and procedures as needed and appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining an organized and up-to-date clinical chart in compliance with commercial insurance standards and agency policy.
  • Completes clinical documentation in agency electronic health records.
  • Assists in program development and staff training to ensure the milieu is therapeutic.
  • Attends outside training events and conferences as requested.
  • Maintains compliance with all local, County, State, and Federal government regulations to Including Title 22, Division 6, and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • May perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Position requires staff must be at least 21 years of age. Completed and cleared Livescan, criminal statement, health screening with TB test. Must undergo a one-hour training which reviews mandatory reporting requirements as per Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA). This training takes place during pre-service orientation training and periodically thereafter.

Valid driver’s license is required for transporting youths. Any changes that occurs on your driving record must be reported immediately to your supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Licensed Masters supervisor professional experience with three to five years’ experience working with severely emotionally disturbed youth. 0-3 post licensed master level
