Job Description : We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas, guest rooms, cabins, laundry department, and other facilities at Casa de Fruta.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and janitorial staff
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, cabins, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards and California health codes
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed, adhering to California purchasing and environmental regulations
• Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a safe working environment for housekeeping staff, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including Cal / OSHA standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
• Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in and assist with room assignments as needed, following California hotel and lodging regulations
• Ensure adherence to all hospitality industry standards and guidelines, including those specific to California
• Implement and maintain environmentally friendly practices in housekeeping operations, in line with California environmental protection laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
