- Inspect and record shipments of products
- Responsible for unloading delivered products and checking their contents to ensure they match the current orders.
- Must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills
- Use required safety equipment (loading box, dolly's etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store dishes and equipment.
- Must be able to lift, handle, and carry small wares, equipment, supplies and paper goods at a minimum of 50 pounds
- Daily and weekly inventory reports
- Supervise while unloading of shipments arrive
- Inspects thoroughly for damages.
- Must be able to communicate well with suppliers and vendors
- Performs all job-related functions in a cordial friendly manner committed to exceeding team member expectations
- Assumes responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Label all deliveries properly and allocate them to designated location
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Must have 1 year experience this role or similar roles
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to communicate clearly with team for all responsibilities of the job.
- Must attend all orientation and training shifts
- Able to work effectively independently as well as part of the team
- Able to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment
- Speed, accuracy, and efficiency are required as well as the ability to work well under pressure
- Willing to follow procedures and take direction
- Supportive of other team members
- Can compete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, late nights, holidays and special events. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.
- PTO Blackout period from Thanksgiving week till January. (Though we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas for employees to spend with their families.)
- Able to stand for long periods of time and walk often at a brisk pace
- Able to walk up inclines and stairs and down declines and stairs multiple times during a shift
- Capable of sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Able to work and perform job tasks in small spaces
- Possesses fine motor skills and dexterity
- Able to withstand temperatures typical within an commercial kitchen setting
- Able to withstand noise levels typical of a high-volume kitchen
- Able to perform job duties efficiently in lighting conditions typical of an commercial restaurant and commercial kitchen
