Casa Bonita Denver is Hiring a Line Attendant Near Lakewood, CO
- This position will rotate through the guest cafeteria style serving line, the deep frying of sopapillas, the hand making of tortillas, preparing pastries, and prepping all ingredients for the cooks.
- Be in correct uniform, practice positive personal hygiene.
- Must be able to ese be able to use required safety equipment (hat/net/gloves/beard net/non slip shoes)
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area throughout shift
- Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for the entire shift
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies, and equipment as well as to stand on the line during service periods
- Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, small wares, equipment, supplies and paper goods at a minimum of 50 pounds
- Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to stock your stations correctly and keep stations refilled for entire shift
- Preparing all food ingredients and items per recipe specifications
- Preparing all menu items to plate presentation specifications repetitively, including portion size, presentation, and cleanliness
- Prepare all food orders to above standards within ticket time specifications
- Must be able to use a knife repetitively
- Ability to work at a fryer for entire shift
- Ability to use other kitchen equipment including ovens, stove, mixers, blenders and others.
- Must adhere to all health code standards
- Monitoring correct temperatures of food during entire shift
- Ensuring all food items are correctly stored and packaged and dated properly
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines when done using before end of shift.
- Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
- Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises, or cover them during break or lunch.
- Taking out the trash
- Daily and weekly cleaning schedules/lists
- Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, smoke, dust and loud noise
- Checks out with manager and finishes any tasks requested
- May be asked to do other tasks as needed
- Performs all job-related functions in a cordial friendly manner committed to exceeding guest and team member expectations
- Must have 6 months experience in a kitchen environment
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, run during complete working shift
- Must be able to communicate clearly with team for all responsibilities of the job. Bilingual preferred
- Must get ServeSafe certified
- Must attend all orientation and training shifts
- Must complete 90 day probationary period
- Able to work effectively independently as well as part of the team
- Able to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Speed, accuracy, and efficiency are required as well as the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work in a loud, distracting environment with flashing lights, haze machines, ongoing shows, and large numbers of guests constantly moving around you.
- Willing to follow procedures and take direction
- Supportive of other team members
- Can compete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, late nights, holidays and special events. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.
- Blackout period from Thanksgiving week till January. (Though we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas for employees to spend with their families.)
