Major Job Functions

• Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced accounting department while adhering to established standards
• Helping accounting department to create new accounting policy based on departmental needs
• Serve as a resource for the accounts payable, accounts receivable and controller
• Assist with year-end closing and year end audit data requests
• Execute accurate data entry into QuickBooks Online and reconcile entries on a regular basis

Job Description

• Match, batch, and code invoices
• Enter invoices into QuickBooks Online
• Creating accounts receivable (A/R) invoices
• Reconcile bank accounts (bank vs. book)
• Reconcile A/P and A/R invoices
• Scanning of prior period accounting documents for archiving purposes
• Organizing online server with scanned documents
• Other accounting department responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma / G.E.D. (required)
• A.S. in accounting, finance, economics or in-progress (preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience in general accounting data entry (required)
• Knowledge of the accounting equation, i.e. debit and credit and their impact on the subledger and general ledger accounts (required)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn (required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.68 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
