National Account Manager
Department: Business Development Job Status: Full-Time Reports to: Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
We are actively seeking national account managers to join our asset based 3PL. This is a fast- paced environment, so your work ethic determines your pay. Seeking highly energetic and competitive people that truly know what “the skies the limit” means. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, SKILLS, and RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1 Year Transportation Sales Experience required. You are firm in negotiations and know how to manage both customer and carrier relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines. A strong book of business or loyal customer base is preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Able to multi-task and navigate multiple computer applications such as: E-mails, DAT Key Point, DAT Power, HubSpot, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
High energy, competitive and feel energized when you see results. Dedicated to service and do not shy away from difficult conversations. A self-starter who seeks to make an impact with your work. Someone looking to create awareness and work as a partner with your customers and carriers to craft solutions. Act as a player/coach and are comfortable in leading by example as our team continues to grow. A professional who is optimistic about their ability to inspire change. You are money motivated.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will be an energetic and fast paced office environment. Occasional travel and trips to cross docks is likely. Up to 15% travel is required.
