Role Description :

Carter and Finley is seeking a full-time Sales Associate who is passionate about fashion and sales, and who is also willing to undertake various operational duties.

This role goes beyond traditional sales responsibilities, including tasks such as checking in merchandise, organizing inventory, and handling behind-the-scenes duties.

Additionally, the Sales Associate will play a crucial support role for the Store Manager, aiding with various operational needs to ensure smooth store functioning.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the store’s financial success.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold the store’s aesthetic by maintaining a tidy and well-organized sales floor.
• Oversee inventory tasks, including merchandise check-ins and stock organization.
• Provide support to the Store Manager through additional operational duties and store management tasks.
• Promote a positive work environment and collaborate with the team to achieve store goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering a loyal customer base, and communicating with them via personal hand-written notes, texts, calls, and emails.

Qualifications

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Demonstrated sales proficiency and target achievement in a retail context.
• Current knowledge of fashion trends and the ability to guide customers in their fashion choices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• A team player ready to support various store functions.
• Prior experience in sales or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
