Mid-Level Associate in Government Contracts & National Security Practice in Washington, D.C.

The position is based in Washington, D.C., with a requirement to be licensed in this jurisdiction.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of legal experience in the field of government contracts law.
  • Demonstrated interest in government contracts law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Special consideration will be given to applicants with judicial clerkship experience at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit or the Court of Federal Claims and those with academic training in government contracts law.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references are required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience.

About the Role:
The Government Contracts & National Security team handles exciting work that often relates to ongoing world issues and is fast-paced. Our practice includes litigating bid protests before all tribunals, representing clients in substantial claims by and against the government, and prosecuting and defending court actions between contractors. The team's work spans critical areas such as space-related procurements, corporate transactions involving major federal contractors and innovative small businesses, and high-stakes international subcontract negotiations.
