Line Cook Responsibilities:

  • Line Cook Job Responsibilities:• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes • Handle and store ingredients and food • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils • Execute opening and closing procedures • Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients • Accommodate guests/servers special requests • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, slicers, steamers, and fryersLine Cook Skills / Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal culinary training can be helpful or 2 years experience on a production line high volume preferably

It is important for the candidate for this position to be able to multi task under high volume conditions.
Must be able to work 40/hrs week. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to follow policies and standards of the work place.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and weekdays
All employees receive credit for PTO base on hours worked.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
