```Overview:```
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with medication administration and providing support to patients in a healthcare setting. ```Duties:```
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and any observed changes in patients' conditions
- Assist with maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
- Provide emotional support and assistance to patients during medication administration
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

```Requirements:```
- Previous experience as a Medication Aide or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner or Epic
- Ability to work in various healthcare settings including acute care, nursing homes, hospitals, and memory care units
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to phlebotomize is a plus
