Carpet Tech is hiring an Air Duct Technician for our McKinney location. As an Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you ride and work with our seasoned Crew Chiefs at various residential and commercial jobs. Air Duct technicians use state-of-the-art, truck-mounted equipment to clean HVAC duct systems and dryer vents. Every day is different, and you will never be bored. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.

• Assist crew chiefs cleaning HVAC duct systems and dryer vents in residential or commercial settings.
• Interact with customers and co-workers by being polite, helpful, friendly, and professional.
• Cross-train in other functional areas to cover assisting with larger jobs when necessary.
• Make confident and accurate decisions regarding the use of equipment, tools, material, and manpower.
• Take personal pride in a job well done, ensuring customers are happy with your work.
• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D)
• 2 years of manual labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and courteously with customers and employees.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
