Carpet Tech, a local floor cleaning and restoration company is growing our TEAM. We are hiring a Make Ready Crew Member for our Lubbock location.

Our culture of excellence is about serving each other and our customers well. Our Make Ready Crew assists our customers with everything from basic housekeeping duties to fire and water restoration. As a Make Ready Crew Member, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of valuables that have been damaged by water, smoke, fire, debris, or other methods of damage.

Carpet Tech leads the service industry for all types of floor cleaning (carpet, tile, wood, concrete, natural stone, etc.), carpet stretching & repairs, disinfecting, and fire/ water restoration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.

• Perform basic housekeeping duties for our customers.
• Specialized cleaning of contents with smoke and/or fire damage
• Specialized cleaning of contents with water damage
• Assist our Fire Restoration Crew with structure cleaning after fire/smoke damage.
• Provide quality services to return our customers’ homes to pre-loss status.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma (or G.E.D.)
• 3 years of experience in cleaning, maintenance, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to pass drug screening.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures.
• Fits within the company culture and works with a disciplined mindset. Holds themselves accountable and have exceptional character.
• Ability to communicate proficiently (written and verbally) with customers, managers, and team members.
• Ability to remain goal-focused in stressful situations.
• Ability to always maintain an upbeat and positive attitude.

• Must be results-driven and team-oriented.
