Serves as assistant to trial attorney in preparing cases for trial. The litigation assistant will aid in all trial preparation needs for the plaintiff, personal injury cases. This position requires the ability to work under minimal supervision. Must have strong communication skills, principles of spelling and grammar, and the ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.

Job Duties:

• Requests and organizes all medical/billing/imaging records for the team
• Maintains and logs all medical records into the appropriate file
• Tracks ongoing treatment and submits timely requests for records
• Maintains subpoena records ensuring proper organization and file maintenance
• Processes all mail for the team and that, once scanned, all documentation is accurately saved into the file and stored appropriately
• Prepares medical records, discovery and deposition binders
• Formatting basic correspondence and pleadings discovery as needed
• Setting up medical and other appointments for clients as needed

Required Education and Experience:

• 0-2 years as a legal assistant in a Personal Injury Law Firm
• Bilingual (Korean / English)
• Computer skills: Proficient in G-Suite, MS Office, and Adobe
