Job Summary: Maintains 24/7 accountability for assigned departments. Responsible for the overall management and operation of clinical services for multiple Acute Procedural and Hospital Outpatient Department (HOD) locations within the healthcare system. Includes ensuring that quality patient care is provided, overseeing clinical staff, and budgeting for clinical operations. Serves as a liaison between Service Line leaders, hospital administration, and CMG leaders. Responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care systems and patient health outcomes attributable to clinical practice; Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of care delivered per organizational policy and procedure; ensures that clinical policies are consistent with the overall goals of the organization. Demonstrates ongoing commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the health care system.

Qualifications: Current RN licensure to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience and three years of progressive leadership experience in an acute hospital setting are required with preferred experience in managing multiple sites or departments. Previous experience in the HOD or procedural area is preferred. Effective communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, self-directedness, and a positive attitude are essential. Possess the ability to use critical thinking skills, logic, and reasoning to address complex situations. Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively and tactfully with department leaders, providers, and the public.
