Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Engineering intern to join our Seattle team to work with our Infrastructure planning group and support water and wastewater projects that work to protect the Puget Sound and our shared environment. This position will continue through Summer 2024 with a possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field activities such as site investigations
• Travel within the King County area will be required
• Assist with the preparation of document research, alternative analysis, technical memoranda, reports, meeting minutes and other electronic deliverables including data entry logs, mapping development and perform data analysis

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and/or engineering, science, planning or environmental coursework
• Previous related internship experience a plus, but not required
• Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter

Pay Range

$23.00 to $28.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
