DescriptionAs a Masonry Superintendent, you'll take charge of coordinating and overseeing all operations within commercial concrete or masonry restoration projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Your role involves managing subcontractors, and in-house crews, conducting quality control and safety assessments, participating in project meetings, and providing on-site guidance during project execution.
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
High school diploma required; college education preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
US work authorization.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn new software.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of commercial concrete and masonry restoration projects, from initiation to completion.
Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and shop drawings.
Develop and implement project safety plans, ensuring the availability and setup of necessary safety equipment.
Conduct and document progress, quality control, and safety inspections.
Monitor and report weather delays to clients and project management.
Track daily unit cost work and maintain records.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute progress reports and schedules.
Attend project meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors.
Develop schedules for workers and subcontractors.
