Day and Night Shift available.

Days: 5:00am to 5:00pm

Nights: 5:00p to 5:00am

Basic Function: To ensure that all product is wrapped in the proper film, using proper codes.

Major Function

• Set up and operate wrapping machine(s)
• Adjust speed of machine to handle product flow
• Ensure orders are filed according to wrap-sheet
• Ensure the proper amount of cartons/baskets are on hand
• Use proper film and code according to wrap-sheet
• Ensure box machine is on and ready before start of production
• Feed racked off products onto line when there is a break in the flow
• Open rewraps
• Ensure catch pans and baskets are emptied of culls, sugar, chocolate, etc.
• End of shift clean-up responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• The wrapper operator is an hourly lead person on each production line, general duties are to ensure that there is an orderly process in the wrapping of the products.
• Wrapper operator will ensure that quality products are shipped.

Working Relationships

• The wrapper operator has a working relationship with all plant management and production employees.
• The wrapper operator reports directly to the production supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift up over 50 lbs
• Must be able to read and write basic English
• Ability to reach over head, stoop, bend, walk, reach and stand on feet for full shift
