Summary

The Customer Value Agreement (CVA) Contract Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate CVA contract records and generating work order tickets for Preventive Maintenance services to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Enter or renew Customer Value Agreements in DBS including applicable pricing and contract agreement details.
  • Set up all CVA machines in Equipment Monitoring Toolkit including correct contact information, service interval schedule, notification window, updated hour meter readings, and applicable special instructions for all PM service intervals.
  • Review EMT list of pending PM services and generate work order tickets for CVA dispatchers as machines come due for upcoming service intervals.
  • Enroll all machine serial numbers in CAT Foresight with applicable details needed for this system registry for Caterpillar Inc.
  • Review EMT list of pending PM services and generate work order tickets for CVA dispatchers as machines come due for upcoming service intervals.
  • Manage missed SMU updates in EMT to determine if machines have stopped reporting hours via Product Link and contact Connectivity group for corrective action.
  • Ensure accuracy of all data entry including pricing, agreement type, agreement duration, service interval schedule, special instructions, hour meter readings and any additional services included with PM's as noted in agreements.
  • Communicate in person, via e-mail and/or phone with CVA dispatchers PL Connectivity group, Condition Monitoring office and customers as needed to ensure work order ticket accuracy.
  • Effectively support and communicate with sales, parts and service department associates regarding CVA's and any customer call in PM requests.
  • Remove CVA's from DBS / EMT and notify CM group and PL Connectivity group for expired agreements that are not renewed.
  • Crosstrain with CVA Dispatchers to assist with scheduling work orders and ordering parts as needed.
  • Perform other CVA office administrative duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Must have earned a High School Diploma, or a GED
  • Construction equipment preventive maintenance and/or service experience preferred.
  • High competency computer and keyboarding skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking
  • Maintain a current knowledge and appreciation of related Product Support
  • Effective communication skills

  • Must be US citizen or legal alien.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must read, write, communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.

  • Must have keyboarding skills.

The noise level in some work environments is occasionally loud.
