Industries of the Blind is Hiring a Contract Administrator Near Greensboro, NC

Summary of Position:
Oversee the specific mandates in all contracts, ensure that all parties involved fulfill all agreed upon
contractual obligations. The contract administrator must know the intricacies of each contract to ensure all parties adhere to the specific terms, conditions, rights, and obligations. He/s is responsible for managing all contracts according to the organization’s objectives.
Essential Duties

Job Duties:
  • Serve as a backup to Customer Service
  • Clarify contractual requirements, inform stakeholders of all requirements, and monitor compliance with all requirements.
  • Communicate with NIB regarding federal contract issues and maintain required records.
  • Maintain and set up Excel Spreadsheet files of all the organization’s government contracts.
  • Review and monitor all contracts for revisions, renewals and price adjustments and ensure necessary actions are taken.
  • Process and maintain all Sales Orders/Work Orders and DD250’s for Government contracts both manually and in VIM.
  • Process RFID labels for all contract required shipments.
  • Schedule all work orders for production to meet contractual requirements.
  • Navigate WAWF for QAR approval and forward to necessary parties.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all contract inquiries, both internal and external.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues with contracts.
  • Verify that all contract orders for invoicing are processed through the WAWF system timely.
  • Provide documentation/information to Management and/or Supervisors.
  • Develop and execute contract work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Ensure contract documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Effectively communicate relevant contract information to management.
  • Print all textile internal labels for production in a timely manner.
  • Create and print other labels as needed.
  • Advise planning and production departments of contractual rights, responsibilities, and obligations.
  • Track payments and deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or associate degree in business or law
  • 3 years of progressive work experience with increased responsibility, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Required Skills:
  • Experience with or demonstrated ability to understand federal contracts.
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to identify errors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work as an individual contributor and team player.
  • Strong customer service skills, able to successfully communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated sound decision-making.
  • Strong computer experience with skills in MS Office; Excel and Word skills required.
  • Strong attention to organizational, time-management and planning skills
