Functions:

As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will:

• Work in direct cooperation with our team of healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information.
• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures following aseptic techniques.
• Prepare specimens for transport to our in-house laboratory.
• Participate in monitoring and maintaining the quality control of laboratory testing.
• Assists healthcare providers with paperwork, filing, and information related to tests and patient information.
• Uphold a calm and professional atmosphere for patients of all demographics.
• Maintain inventory control of phlebotomy supplies to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Follow all health and safety standards to maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Specifications:

To be a successful applicant, you must:

• Demonstrate impeccable communication skills and patient-centric approach.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a knack for patient service.
• Proficiency in the English language is required for accurate documentation and patient communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. 
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic health records.
• Must be meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of working flexible schedules.
• A High School Diploma
• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
