Carnaby Clubs is a membership network dedicated to providing a welcoming and engaging environment for the modern parent. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a background in early childhood education and excellent communication skills to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for our members. As a Club Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for families, both children and adults, while assisting with club operations and membership sales.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Child supervision: Ensure a warm, friendly and safe play area

● Program facilitation: Ensure smooth operations of classes and programming

● Opening and Closing: Ensure the club is ready for daily operations by opening and closing in accordance with established procedures

● Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a safe environment for young children

● Member Engagement: Greet members and guests warmly, explain the club's concept, and provide informative tours to prospective members

● Event Check-In: Assist with event check-ins and birthday parties, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for participants

● Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address member inquiries and concerns, and foster positive relationships with club members

● Weekend Availability: Be available to work at least one weekend day, as weekends are peak times for our club

Qualifications

· Previous experience or educational background in early childhood or childcare strongly preferred

· Must have six months experience or willing to get trained in working with young children (3-6) or infants/toddlers (0-3)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children and adults.

· Warm and friendly demeanor with the ability to create a welcoming environment

· Exceptional customer service skills and a desire to exceed member expectations

· Flexibility to work weekends and a willingness to assist with various tasks as needed
