Carlsbad Educational Foundation is Hiring a K-8 After School and Summer Enrichment Manager Near Carlsbad, CA

The Enrichment Manager partners with the CEO, CEF staff, and CUSD staff, to facilitate all aspects of school year and Summer Enrichment Programs, including, but not limited to, logistics, course and teacher selection, marketing, parent communications and on-site supervision. This position will also create and execute monitoring and evaluation strategies to ensure that program goals are met. All position responsibilities must be performed in accordance with city, state, federal and Company policy.

ENRICHMENT MANAGER DUTIES

  • Update program timelines for current year.
  • Independently determine all school year and summer enrichment program offerings.
  • Reserve classrooms or other meeting spaces in the district's facility request software (Facilitron).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with CUSD, community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders to
    gain support for program maintenance, new program ideas and overall expansion per Foundation goals.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of marketing campaigns to expand enrichment enrollment.
  • Secure the appropriate tools and supplies for classes/camps.
  • Oversee all daily operations for all weeks of summer enrichment camp.
  • Provide communication to parents and students regarding program information.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws/regulations for K-8 day camps including equal opportunity and nondiscrimination relative to children, parents, employees and the operation of K-8 day camps.
  • Monitor and evaluate each program's impact to align with CEF's goals and quality expectations through surveys and feedback.
  • Interview, secure, and onboard staff and volunteers for all school year and summer enrichment program offerings.
  • Participate in problem solving strategies as needed with instructors, including but not limited to substitute teaching, student behavior issues, location changes, etc.
  • Utilize software to create registration options, monitor family accounts, track financials, etc.
  • Work with CEO or Program Director to create and meet annual revenue and expense budget.
  • Create and maintain program enrollment data and financial models to track program trends and overall budget.
  • Review and submit invoices and reimbursements to accounting.
  • Represent the Foundation at meetings and events as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of management experience required.
  • 1 year of experience managing multi-site teams preferred.
  • Experience working with school districts preferred.
