Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our team. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing files, documents, and records in accordance with company procedures. Your role will be essential in ensuring efficient operations and easy retrieval of information. Responsibilities: - Sort and categorize documents, files, and records - Create new files and maintain existing filing systems - Ensure all documents are properly labeled and stored - Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of files - Retrieve requested files and documents for internal staff or external parties - Assist with scanning, photocopying, and faxing documents as needed - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Provide general administrative support as required Skills: - Previous experience working in a dental office, medical office, or similar clerical role is preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in basic computer skills including file management and data entry - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents - Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist internal staff and external parties professionally - Familiarity with office management procedures and phone systems is a plus Join our team as a File Clerk and contribute to the smooth operations of our organization.
