CARLEX is Hiring a Material Planning and Logistics Director Near Troy, MI

The Director, Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) is responsible for all the planning, direction, and coordination of transportation activities to support Carlex’s unique logistical requirements. The Director, MP&L also works with the manufacturing operations and site MP&L managers to ensure accurate production reporting and provide necessary training where required. These activities include all material and product related domestic and international transportation. This position also develops and measures key performance metrics and resolves transportation concerns, such as claim issues and effective route planning, as they occur, as well as negotiates competitive rates and contracts among suppliers in the market.
