Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Care Manager to join our team. The Assistant Care Manager will be responsible for coordinating patient care services and ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery by working with staff and clients in creating work schedule, training new caregivers, managing the day-to-day schedule of caregivers and workinh with clients to ensure smooth interaction between them, the company and their caregivers.
Duties:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient/caregiver relationship to ensure maximum compatibility
- Manage the schedules of caregivers-patients to ensure callouts are filled and caregivers are prompt.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling, patient care and/or administrative work
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient service standards
