Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable
- Support patients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assisted living, home care, hospice care, or nursing home settings is preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper techniques
- Basic cooking skills for meal preparation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to understand healthcare instructions
