Job Title: Full-Time Family Assistant for a Warm and Active Family
Location: Bronxville, NY
Children: Three girls, ages 7, 5, and 3 years old
Start Date: July 2024
Salary: $30/hr
Schedule School year:
- Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Fridays: OFF
During the summer, the hours will be: 8am-5pm, Monday through Thursday,
Job Description:
Loving, active family seeking a dedicated, nurturing full-time nanny to care for their three young daughters. The ideal candidate will use good communication to work with the family fostering strong, supportive relationships with the children while managing their daily activities. The nanny will need to drive the children daily and should be comfortable swimming and monitoring children in the water. The family maintains an active lifestyle and prefers a gentle parenting method and seeks a nanny who can complement their dynamic home environment. Both parents work full-time. The children are outgoing, creative, and full of energy with interests ranging from ballet and gymnastics to reading and arts and crafts. The family also has a friendly rescue dog.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing attentive care and supervision to the three girls.
- Managing daily routines, including school drop-offs, pickups, and coordinating after-school activities.
- Engaging the children in creative and educational activities tailored to their individual interests and developmental stages.
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the family.
- Assisting with homework and supporting educational growth.
- Performing light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and maintaining tidy spaces. organizing (seasonal and routine) and flexibility for additional family assistant duties when the children are in school.
