The Registered Nurse is responsible for the Shift coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care. Responsibilities include both the direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provides care for medically complex patients who are critically ill requiring ventilator support
• Compare to ICU step down level of care
• Excellent clinical outcomes = employee satisfaction
• 30-day length of stay allows for strong patient relationships
• Low staffing ratios
• Multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Every third weekend
• Night / weekend differential

Full-time, Part-time

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's of Nursing Degree from credentialed school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey; 1 year of relative nursing experience preferred, but not required
• New grads welcome
• BLS required, ACLS preferred

Shift: All Shifts

Overview: We are a 25 bed LTACH uniquely designed to serve patients who have complex medical and respiratory needs and require a lengthy acute-care setting. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to provide quality care for patients, monitor and assess patients, report symptoms or changes in patient condition, administer medications and carry out orders, and work as an interdisciplinary team member to assure patients are meeting safety measures and clinical goals. Located on one floor, no floating from unit to unit.
