We are seeking a qualified and dedicated medical insurance biller to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone familiar with A/R, and insurance eligibility.

Medical biller responsibilities:

• Review provider schedule for the following day and verify patient insurance eligibility through insurance portals
• Review ERA's and mail batches daily for denied claims
• Use insurance portals to correct and resubmit claims as needed
• Create electronic and paper appeals when necessary to ensure payment
• Post insurance and over the counter payments
• Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
• Investigating and appealing denied claims.
• Follow up on A/R

Medical biller requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical biller or similar role.
• 1 year minimum experience verifying insurance eligibility with payer portals
• CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS & medical terminology knowledge required
• Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Eclinical Works experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
