Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily living assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with various care needs.

Duties:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Escort clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Follow care plans and maintain documentation of care provided

Skills:

- Experience in senior care or working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of home care practices and patient care techniques
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to take vital signs and assist with medication reminders
- Experience in childcare or caregiving roles is beneficial
- Familiarity with resident rights and advocacy for client well-being
