CareFirst Wellness Associates is Hiring a Patient Services Representative Near Surprise, AZ

```Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate demographic information is obtained
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect patient payments and provide receipts
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Patient Services Representative or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in using eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, or similar practice management systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental receptionist experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical record systems is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
