ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Performs tasks as instructed and works shifts as assigned by supervision. · Sanitizes all production equipment, offices, laundry and outside areas to meet established Company standards. · Cleans offices, break area and bathrooms.· Operates various cleaning and sanitizing equipment to ensure all areas are clean and sanitized. · Responsible maintaining all required written documentation related to the sanitation and cleaning of the equipment and facility. · Operates laundry equipment to clean and sanitize all uniforms and towels.· Monitors and inspects production equipment to verify cleanliness and sanitation levels after cleaning/sanitation of equipment.· Responsible for communication with other departments to ensure efficient operation of the production process.· Performs relief duty in other departments as needed. · Assists and trains employees as needed· Responsible for attending and participating in assigned training sessions related to GMPs, SOPs, HACCP and SQF; applying and demonstrating obtained knowledge and following all procedures and policies related to food safety.· Responsible for keeping work area safe and clean.· Adheres to all safety guidelines for job performed · Performs related duties as assigned by supervision· Responsible for meeting all quality, sanitation and production standards PHYSICAL DEMANDS · Occasionally required to lift and pull up to 50 pounds· Occasionally required to carry items up to 50 pounds· Required to work while standing for periods up to 2 hours· Required to bend, reach, stoop, lift, push and pull frequently· Required to work in plant environment· Perform medium to heavy duty work tasks QUALIFICATIONS · Ability to operate powered industrial truck and other material handling equipment.· Ability to obtain forklift certification for OSHA requirements.· Ability to operate snorkel lift and work at heights over 10 feet· Ability to use Excel, Word and Outlook proficiently· Ability to read and understand documents and labels related to cleaning and sanitizing· Ability to communicate, write legibly, and speak in English· Ability to perform each essential function satisfactory. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT · Safety eyewear will be required· Protective clothing, hair net and gloves are required.· Additional PPE may be required based on tasks being performed and location within the facility.
