Position Summary: A Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered healthcare professional. PCTs help patients with activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding, and personal care to ensure that they are as comfortable as possible during treatment.

Shifts Available: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Pay Rate will be $18 an hour
Location: 3599 University Blvd S, Jacksonville, FL 32216

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist registered healthcare workers with administering treatments.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient’s conditions to a nurse or physician
• Provide physical assistance to patients when moving between different care departments
• Perform basic procedures like taking patient temperature, recording blood pressure, collecting specimens for testing
• Deliver meal to assigned patients and feed them as necessary

Job Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Patient care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
