About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development for its Integrated Solutions Division. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the development and implementation of a growth strategy and business plan, establishing and nurturing relationships with customers, partners, and major OEMs, and identifying and pursuing organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions and joint ventures. This role requires a strong external and marketplace orientation, with a focus on the defense and commercial sectors, and the ability to assess company capabilities against customer requirements. The VP Business Development will also be responsible for building and supervising a team of Business Development professionals and must have a proven track record of successful, complex negotiations, particularly within the U.S. Department of Defense and with senior-level relationships.Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant domain, complemented by a Master of Business Administration, and a strong technical background. Experience in business capture, proposal development, and a deep understanding of the aerospace and defense sector are essential. The role demands a leader with a charismatic personality, strong influence skills, and the ability to engage and motivate teams. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, capable of operationalizing strategy into business performance, and possess excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic are also key attributes for this position.
