Sr. Financial Analyst
Location: El Segundo, CA 90245 – hybrid, 3 days onsite each week
Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial business support in forecasting, analysis, reporting, accounting, and systems in our Direct-to-Consumer Business.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general ledger close procedures in Oracle as part of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process. This includes the preparation of journal entries, primarily related to inventory, obsolescence, and other areas.
• Partner with FP&A team to ensure that they understand the drivers of specific P&L variances during the close.
• Coordinate with various business groups including Inventory Planning Team & Other Planning/Strategy to support management business decision.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations related to Sales, Inventory, & Others, including variances between different systems.
• Leverage various systems such as Oracle, HFM, Cognos, etc. to provide continuous support and smooth operation.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and SOX/Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• MBA or CPA license is a plus
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience, preferably in a large global corporate accounting department & experience working in the Direct-to-Consumer business model is a plus.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting concepts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
