The International Business Development Associate will create and build client relationships with companies in the US and aboard (Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Germany, France and Italy). They will also coordinate with colleagues on new opportunities and assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for acquiring new equipment including proposal writing and contract negotiations.

Position Summary

• Create new opportunities and relationships through warm and cold calls
• Assist in formulating proposals in conjunction with other team members
• Assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models
• Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group (e.g., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations)
• Track and report the status of all proposals
• Support other Business Development Team members as needed
• Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least one year experience in business development, sales, or call center. (Required)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to speak either fluent Japanese, Korean, or Chinese AND English
