Schedule; Monday thru Friday 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

All post offer candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.

Must have Associate's degree and 1 year experience in counseling or related field.

Responsible for overseeing, supervising and monitoring all activities, duties and responsibilities personal and career development programs of the Residential Living ensures compliance with PRH requirements for assigned area.

Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards (CSS) of: workplace relationships and ethics; information management; communications; multicultural awareness; personal growth and development; career and personal planning, and; interpersonal skills; independent living.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:

Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values, company operating principles, Career Success Standards. This is a supervisory management position. Supervises Residential Supervisors with oversite of all residential staff. Reviews for accuracy and approves staff timesheets. This is a Management Team position and employee serves as a member of the Center’s Leadership Team.

Residential Living Manager will be responsible for Management Coverage in the absence of a Residential Coordinator as needed.

Supervises residential staff and approves requests for time off and may arrange substitute staff coverage for unexpected staff call outs. Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values, company operating principles, Career Success Standards.

Assists students in adjusting to Center life to enhance student retention by providing supervision, behavior modification, counseling, and by acting as a positive role model and mentor.

Employee provides and ensures staff assigned to their supervision provide, services that meet the needs of students in a timely professional manner with the highest degree of customer service in mind.

Adheres to all PRH and CSD policies and procedures, and the Center Operating Procedures.

Maintains confidentiality, but reports significant events or situations immediately through approved channels to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff, and to ensure that required reporting occurs, and that students receive emergency services as needed.

Ensures equipment and assigned work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with Center, CSD, and DOL standards, including conducting quarterly property counts, submitting property relocation requests, may serve as a property custodian, and submits maintenance requests as needed.

Conducts interviews of perspective new employees and makes recommendations for, or against hire, based of State and Federal laws, and company policy.

Conducts formal performance evaluations for staff under supervision in timely manner and provides regular and ongoing performance feedback.

Participates in the disciplinary process as established at the center, including zero tolerance for violence and drugs reports all events immediately that require the issuance of Significant Incident Reports (SIRs), may be assigned to issue SIRs.

Responsible for the performance management of all employees under supervision including issuing Behavior Modification Agreements in conjunction with Human Resources and following the chain of command in accordance with CSD’s code of staff conduct.

Assists in preparing weekly and monthly staff schedule.

Responsible to ensure that assigned staff under supervision maintain an orderly, safe, clean and healthy living environment within areas of responsibility.

May be assigned to supervise an activity, a special event (either on or off center), or in other program areas as assigned on a temporary, periodic, or regular basis.

Responsible to initiate and review student records, student files, ESPs, case notes, forms and report accuracy, to ensure they are complete, timely, and in compliance with PRH and company polices.

Ensures that student needs are met in a timely professional manner.

Conducts regular staff meetings and employee training sessions as needed, and/or requested by Center Management.

Provides monthly and weekly activity reports to Social Development Director.

Ensures that order and discipline are maintained in dormitories while promoting self-discipline and an awareness of others by modeling, mentoring and monitoring staff and student behavior according to the Career Success Standards.

Trains, promotes, and encourage student leadership through the student leadership program (i.e. SGA, Student Wing Leaders, etc.)

Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance to students in the event of injury, illness, emotional trauma, arrest, trouble at home and other traumatic experiences.

Assists students in handling special problems, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, peer mediation, etc.

Conducts dormitory assemblies, meetings, trainings, Center meetings, including collaboration with other departments when necessary to ensure that student needs and concerns are addressed and resolved in timely fashion.

Ability to assist staff and students in conflict resolution practices and methodologies, in order to reach fair, reasonable, and equitable solutions to issues.

Responsible for ensuring that departmental equal employment and affirmative action goals and objectives are met. If a workplace EEO complaint is made, immediately refers complainant to the Center’s EO Officer and notifies supervisor. Provides any available information on complaints (i.e. alleged events, incident time, and witnesses).

Attends and participates in scheduled training.
